Nigerian Civil Service Union FC Laments IPPIS 17000 Names Ommision, to Picket MDAs Infringing on Workers Right to Associate

The federal council of the Nigerian Civil Service Union has expressed worry over the lack of clarity on government palliatives plan for Nigerian workers and the down trodden.

This was contained in a communique issued at the end of a one day conference of the council held in Keffi, with the theme ” A Regime of Subsidy Removal in Nigeria Gains, Effects and Prospects in a Mono-economy: An Appraisal of the Nigerian Public Service.

In attendance were Comrade Sunday Oluwole, National President of the Union and Comrade Bomoi Ibraheem ,General Secretary of the Union . Others who graced the event are Adoga Aruwa, the Federal Council Chairman FCT along with his Executives, some present and old members of FEC and FAC members of the Union.

Issues deliberated on include workers welfare especially, 17,000 names missing from the IPPIS , the prohibition of union membership in some MDAs, the prospect of paying retirees their normal salaries before they are able to access their pension among others.

After extensive deliberations , the Congress came up with resolutions in a communique which includes:
