The nationwide strike by the NLC and TUC has been called off.
This was part of a message from Comrade Sikiru Waheed general Secretary AUPCTRE.to members.

Arising from the just concluded join NEC session of NLC and TUC to give consideration to the plea of Federal Government at a meeting held today at the office of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the meeting resolved that the ongoing national Strike is hereby suspended.
The labor movement appreciates you all for your commitments towards the success of the industrial action. You are hereby directed to resume your official functions from tomorrow Thursday 16th November, 2023.
