It was an atmosphere of praise and celebration as AODemarg held its annual thanksgiving with the theme: Praising God with Gratitude at the Christ Apostolic Church, Durunmi,Abuja
The chairman of the group of companies,Rtd. General Ademola Fadunsin flanked by family,friends and associates joined in singing praises and dancing to the glory of God for another successful end to the year
Speaking to our correspondent at the end of the service, the chairman said he is grateful to God for keeping the company afloat.
“There are benefits in thanking the almighty God. If despite the economic situation of the country,God is still keeping us alive in good health and we are still afloat as a group of companies so we have to appreciate God and to thank Him for a better year ahead.
We pray to God to enlarge our Coast in the power sector and the aviation sector”.
During the sermon,the curate Pastor Ola Ogunfolaju in his sermon outlined the benefits of thanksgiving and attested to the fact that AODemarg had made it a tradition to come back at the end of every year to thank God before the church, which he said is the secret of their success.
Some friends and associates who came to rejoice with AODemarg applauded the consistency with which the thanksgiving has been held in the past over twenty years.
According to Engr. Augustine Chigbonu, “it is always a thing of joy to come and give thanks to God and he has been very consistent.All through since I knew him he has always invited me to come and be part of his thanksgiving,so I think that he is someone that recognises that in all he does, it is only God that can do it for us this year has been difficult for everyone but despite the challenges, he still came to give thanks to God”.
Meanwhile Bar. Elvis Asoro on his part said “General Fadunsin is a man who has the love and the fear of God.he is a humble man and we have been friends from his days as captain in the military school.he is an army infantry general but he has thrived and succeeded where experts would not have achieved anything.he went into solar, a very technical field,a military officer, what is the nexus with a solar expert”.
