During this visit, the convener Who is Who, Dr Dom KClaimz Enamhe restated the commitment of the group to supporting the Belegete IDPs. Notably, items presented to the community included wrappers specifically for women and mosquito nets, foams, and warm clothing, together with normal outing clothes.

The Belegete people expressed gratitude to the teams for bringing them succour at this trying moment in their existence and prayed for God to bless their benefactors.
A member of the team, Dr Isaac Ishamali shared first hand the situation.
“As members of the intervention committee of the “Who is Who in northern CRS”, we went with relief materials ranging from foodstuffs, clothings, blankets and mattresses to the Ranch thrice for the displaced people of Belegete. Each time we visited, there was progressive identification of their needs which informed our subsequent outreaches which included the medical outreach. Their excitement was palpable as they were enmeshed in prayers for us. We were even informed that they lost two children to the harsh elements which informed our decision to procure the blankets and clothing to keep them warm. However, we gave them hope with a promise that we were going to escalate their plight to government for further intervention. They were thankful and still expectant as they desire to return to their homes”.
Recall that the people of Belegete had been displaced following an attack by armed men suspected to be Ambassonians from Cameron and have since been displaced from their homes and living under unsavoury conditions.
The recent intervention is the second by the Who is Who in Northern Cross River State.
