As part of preparations to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the University of Calabar,the Vice-Chancellor Prof Florence Obi has inaugurated a 36 man planning committee for the event.
The committee which is chaired by Prof. Eyong Eyong the provost, college of postgraduate studies has Barr Eshemomoh Paul as alternate chairman and Dr Dom Cklaimz Enamhe,alumni relations officer as Secretary.
Other members include Prof Aboki Ochefu, National President of the Alumni , Dr Mike Okom director alumni relations and Dr Anthonia Ekpa ,FCC Abuja.
The committee is to among other things ,raise funds for the development of the institution.
