Political Homecoming:  Hon Brian Odey Hosts Yala 1 Stakeholders and Constituents in Calabar

Member representing Yala 1 State Constituency at the Cross River House of Assembly, Hon. Odey Brian , has expressed his gratitude to party stakeholders, constituents’ and supporters across the 8 wards of Yala 1 in Yala local government for their support so far and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking at a colourful event in Calabar, the State Capital, Hon. Brian particularly acknowledged their unwavering dedication to his political milage, the campaigns and election, the legal tussle and victory at the elections petition tribunal and his overwhelming welcoming to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a heartfelt message to dignitaries present at the glamorous occasion, Hon Brian acknowledged the significant role that party stakeholders and various leaders played in rallying support for him in ensuring the successful homecoming back to APC.

“I wish to use this occasion to express my profound appreciation to the All Progressives Congress, APC Stakeholders, youth leaders, women leaders, and supporters for their unwavering trust and massive support before and during my homecoming (Decamping) ceremony which took place at Yahe, Yala LGA. I am sincerely grateful for the belief you have shown in me to receive me to the ruling party and I am committed to upholding the values and integrity of our party,” he stated.

He thanked His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu for his fatherly role and commended the governor his people oriented administration in the state.

Hon. Brian emphasized the importance of unity among party members and urged everyone to come together to continue to support the Governor to succeed in his determination to implement various projects that will bring about meaningful development to the state and Yala in particular.

He acknowledged the essential contributions of the youth and women leaders, recognizing their vital roles in mobilizing support and fostering community engagement.

“I want to extend my deepest thanks to my family, friends, and well-wishers. Your steadfast support has been a source of strength and inspiration throughout my homecoming. I could not have succeeded without your encouragement,” he added.

“Together, we will strive to build a more prosperous and inclusive Yala 1 State constituency and Cross River State.
