The governor of Cross River State Prince Bassey Otu ,appointed Dr David Ushie Technical Advisor to the committee on universal health coverage .
In a letter made available to our correspondent, Gov. Otu said the appointment gives him powers to facilitate the committee’s oversight functions.
He is also by his mandate expected to coordinate a strong policy and operations synergy between the relevant MDAs to achieve universal health coverage among other key health priorities of Governor It’s administration.
