Alhassan Yahaya Becomes New NUJ President

Following the elections at the 8th triennial conference of the NUJ in Owerri, Alhassan Yahaya emerged victorious as the new NUJ President.

He polled 436 votes beating the incumbent treasurer Dele Atunbi who polled 96 votes as the nearest Rival.

Alhassan Yahaya was the incumbent Deputy national president and also past Chairman of Gombe Council.
