The Mount Carmel Secondary School Igoli-Ogoja Association under the umbrella of Marca Alumni Association, Abuja Chapter, held its 2024 End-of-Year Party in Àbuja.
The event with the theme, “Excellence in Old School Dressing, had as its topic, Mastering Alumni Reunion . Marca old girls were captured spotting different Afro hairstyles and dress patterns peculiar to the 70s and 80s
The event had in attendance distinguished personalities of Mary Knoll College and Marca Alumni Association couples in attendance including the Chief of Defense Intelligence, General & Mrs Parker Undiandeye, Col. & Mrs Tom Okem (Rtd.), Prof. Olympus Ejue & Dr. Frances Ejue amongst others.
Guests wined and dined to choice cuisine after which they hit the dance floor to vibe to old school music also called oldies ranging from songs by Cool and the gang to Madonna’s La Isla Bonita.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Abuja Chapter, Lady Imaji Odey noted that the event was an evening of networking, learning, and celebration, as alumni members came together to mark the end of the year 2024.
Imaji who expressed her deep appreciation to all distinguished guests for their presence equally commended alumni members for turning out enmasse for the event. She added that Abuja alumni chapter is united and will continue to further peaceful coexistence among its members.

It was indeed a moment of thrills and booms as Marca Old Girls wrapped up the year in style with an incredible end-year party. It was filled with laughter, great food, music and unforgettable moments. From the old school dress code that had everyone in stitches to sharing stories of the year 2024 to pomp and ecstacy.
