The Minister of transportation Sen. Sa”id Alkali represented PBAT at two wedding fatihas which attracted dignitaries from different walks of life including Deputy Governor of Gombe state, Dr. Manasseh Daniel Jatau, traditional rulers, diplomats and top government functionaries.
A statement signed by Umar Alkali Jibril, Special Assistant Media and Publicity, Office of the Honourable Minister of Transportation says formalities of the Nikah was presided over by an islamic Scholar which culminated to the climax of traditional marriage rites as enshrined in the glorious Quran.
The two couples are
- Princess Ummulkhair Sale Muhammad & Aminu Lawal Usman Musawa
- Princess Saadatu Sale Muhammad & Abdulrazak Abubakar Tukur.
The Minister was received by His highness Mai Kaltungo who is also the Deputy Chairman Gombe state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Engr Saleh Muhammad OON
Alkali prayed to almighty Allah to bless the marriage and give the couples peace and prosperity in their matrimonial homes.
In a similar development, the Minister also paid homage to his Highness, the Mai Tangle, Alh. Muhammad Sanusi Maiyamba at his Palace in the ancient town of Billiri.
The event took place over the weekend.
