I look around me today at the women all over the world, uniting to celebrate a day that reminds us that we are one of a kind.
Today I make a roll call of all the women shattering glass ceilings, daring to dream and moving mountains to see that a place is kept for women at the table.
Ironically, some women have lost heart because it seems like gender equality and equity are an illusion, think of 131 as projected to close the gender gap and understand their perspective.
It is easy to throw in the towel ut guess what? That is not the stuff women are made of so we will rise, reinforce and press on.
We will accelerate each other, especially the girl child and step by step we will arrive at a world where women have equal rights and Justice is served .
