The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali has consoled families of victims of Gombe State Accident.
A statement signed by Alkali Jubril special adviser media and publicity to the Minister says Sen. Alkali received with shock the news of the tragic accident in Billiri town, Gombe state which claimed five (5) lives and several others injured while on an Easter Procession.
He says while commiserating with the bereaved families over the untimely death of their loved ones, he equally prayed that almighty Allah would give the injured persons a quick recovery.
According to Alkali, the Minister also used the medium to felicitate with the Christian faithful in Gombe state in particular and Nigeria in general on this year’s Easter Celebration, urging them to extend their hands of Fellowship to humanity as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
