In keeping with its tradition of turning up enmasse to celebrate classmates and indeed schoolmates,the Edgerley Memorial Girls Secondary School Calabar Class of 93 in Abuja, massively celebrated Diva Dr Maureen Uno as she celebrated her fiftieth birthday.
In classy outfits of white, gold or red, the Edgerley Old girls stole the show as attested to by guests at the colorful event.
The celebrants who thanked God for granting her the privilege to celebrate 50 years, did a special rendition with songs of praise and worship to God.
Goodwill messages poured in as colleagues, friends and school mates attested to her virtues and extolled her professionalism in her practice as a pediatrician.
The Captain Class of 93, Diva Esther Ninedys recounted how Dr Maureen stood out as a brilliant student coming among the top ones in school while also appreciating her for a particular incident where her expertise had made the difference when her son was ill.
The President of Unity Chapter, Edgerley Old Girls, Diva Atim Ejike thanked God for her life , praising her for always being available when a hand was needed and on behalf of the alumni wishes her many more happy and prosperous years.
There was plenty to eat and drink as the evening dovetailed into dancing with current songs as well as old school jams hitting the air.
Highpoint of the event was the cutting of the cake by the celebrants supported by her husband, Mr Godwin Uno.
