Chief Bassey Esin, member Governing Council of Kashere Federal University,Gombe and an APC Stalwart has held an interaction with Youths from Oruko as part of sensitization.
Chief Esin on his return from the APC summit in Abuja visited his people in Oruko town on Monday, 26th, May 2025 in the evening and addressed them on crucial political issues.
In his address , he informed the people that the APC summit was the one of it’s kind while warning that his people should not allow anyone deceive them with coalition proposals.
Esin further stated that Gov. Umo Eno’s return to APC is in the best interest of the people of Akwa Ibom State.
Chief Esin went on to assure Governor Umo Eno that his re- election in 2027 under APC will be for the best.
He emphasized that Governor Umo Eno is the Governor who has again restored unity and peace among the people of Akwa Ibom State adding that hat he has driven away hatred and restored love between the people.
Chief Bassey made it clear to the people that the future is in God’s hands and they should not allow anyone to intimidate them in the name of coalition.
He further nformed the people that in view of the good work President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing in Nigeria, it is better to consolidate on his achievement and as such , he should complete his 8yrs in office for the South.
Esin commended the APC chapter chairman of Urue Offong/ Oruko LGA Hon.Henry for his great work which has made APC the strongest party in Urue Offong/Oruko LGA.
Bassey Esin further acknowledged that APC is the party to belong to and, everyone returning to the party is returning home. He asserted that the broom is for every home as no home can do without the broom.
Chief Bassey also commended the Executive Director project, NDDC Chief Sir Victor Antai for using his office to empower a lot of people in Oruko and Urue Offong/Oruko LGA.
For,creating jobs for the people and bringing projects to the area, Esin thanked Chief Antai ad well as for the new projects he will be bringing for the people. He reminded the people that the good works of the NDDC director is a continuation of the good works of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the people in the LGA.

invited those being empowered by the Executive Director to also reach out and touch the life of others in their Wards and villages.
Responding , the Vice President of Oruko youths , Comrade Ebek thanked him for coming to brief them and instruct them to continue to stay with the APC. He called Chief Esin the politician who is always working for the interest of Oruko people.
They tendered a request through Chief Bassey Esin to the Executive Director project NDDC Sir Victor Antai to restore the Solar light in Oruko market as the lights are no longer functioning.
Some APC ward chairmen; the Ward Chairmen of Oruko Ward 2 and 3 etc were excited that Chief Bassey came and enlightened them to continue to work for APC saying that his coming has added more strength to the youths of Oruko group of villages which comprises of 18 villages.
