Former Ima Okpongette now Barr (Mrs) Bassey Esin,
First Female General Counsel for the FCT and Secretary legal, an APC faithful from Urue Offong/Oruko LGA in Akwa Ibom State has joined other supporters in the State to applaud Gov. Umo Eno for Decamping to the APC.
In a statement made available to Newsannex she described the move as a visionary leadership decision that will reposition Akwa Ibom State in politics at the Center.
According to Esin. Akwa Ibom State was orphaned in the past administration due to the politics of hate and selfishness.
She affirmed that since his resumption of office Gov.Eno has continuously announced that he is the Governor of every Akwa Ibomite without any sentiments.
Ima Bassey Esin believes that the current political move by Governor Eno will bring lasting love unity and peace to the State and, will draw more development to Akwa Ibom State.
She further stated that as President Muhammadu Buhari completed his 8years tenure as the President from the North,so must President Bola Ahmed Tinubu complete his 8years tenure as the President from the South adding that this is not subject to any arguments or negotiation because, according to Mrs Esin, what President Tinubu has accomplished in just 2years in office must be appreciated by Nigerians.
