Pastor Ruth Nwabueze has been described as a disciplinarian,a church builder, a mother to many and a pioneer who helped establish the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Mpape. Abuja.
Friends and family as well as Edgerley Old Girls Unity Chapter, turned out enmasse to celebrate Pastor Ruth who in her days was school senior prefect of the college.
In his sermon titled ‘Teach Is to Number our Days’ the pastor harped on the importance of paying attention to how we live our lives since everyone will give account of how they lived at the end.
There were various presentations as well as special numbers from the children, choir, teens and the Edgerley Old Girls.
The Vice-president of the Unity Chapter , Edgerley Old Girls representing Mrs Atim Ejike, the President who was unavoidably absent while thanking Pastor Ruth for her contribution to the activities of the Alumni in Abuja, wished her a long , happy life.
Mrs Esther Iwu, Captain of the class of 93 to which the celebrant belongs conveyed the love and felicitation of the entire class, she also celebrated Pastor Ruth for her enduring legacy of fitness yet being dependable with a large heart.H
High point of the event was the cutting of the cake by the celebrant supported by her husband and daughter who also gave her a surprise car gift.
