Amb. Hart Modey Commends Northern Cross River Residents in Abuja Endorsement of Senator Jarigbe Agom

Ambassador Hart Modey has applauded the constituents of Northern Cross River State residing in Abuja for hosting a rally endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Bassey Otu and Senator Jarigbe Agom for a second term in office based on their performance.

In a statement, Amb. Modey Expressed joy that politics in Cross River North has experienced a paradigm shift with constituents holding leaders accountable for their delivery and openly commending good governance .

He said this is an indication of a new level of political awareness that will ensure that public office holders deliver on their mandate while in offers away from the politics of stomach Infrastructure.

Modey congratulated  the President, Gov Otu and Senator Jarigbe for gaining the trust of the people.

He attested to the fact that Northern Cross River State under Senator Jarigbe Agom has seen an unprecedented delivery in the dividends of democracy in terms of infrastructural and human capital development.

Citing the projects ranging from roads, water, electricity and school rehabilitation, Modey said the support shown through the endorsement rally is well earned and expressed optimism that the momentum would be sustained by giving the Senator the votes needed to return him to the Senate come 2027.

“This is not about party affiliation but about individual performance. When a role has been occupied by several people, it is reasonable to assess who actually delivered measurable results. Performance should be the benchmark. In any system—academic or professional—those who fail to meet expectations are required to repeat the process, while those who perform are allowed to progress. Accountability should work the same way here”.

The rally drew constituents from Bekwara, Mbube, Ogoja, Yala,Obudu,Obanliku and even people from other Senatorial districts who came to lend their support.
