197 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria. According to the NCDC daily update, Plateau tops the list with 83 cases, Lagos is next with 48 while Katsina is third with 17 cases.

The NCDC reported 296 new cases of Covid-19, Plateau state accounts for 136 of these. In the past few days, figures had dropped drastically to below hundred in every state including Lagos. 55456 cases have been confirmed in all. 43334 patients have been discharged so far with 1067 deaths.
