Former Vice-chairman Urue-Offiong Oruko LGA in Akwa Ibom State and an APC stalwart,publisher of Global Spy News, Elder Bassey Esin has called on APC delegates to vote for Prof Yemi Osinbajo to become the party flagbearer in the 2023 presidential elections.
Elder Esin made the call on the sidelines of the party convention in Abuja.
Speaking to our correspondent, he described the vice president as a man full of plans and ideas that can move Nigeria forward. According to him, the visionary leadership which is a hallmark of Osinbajo is what Nigeria needs at a time like this.
The former Vice-chairman Urue-Offiong urged delegates to put the interest of the nation first and vote for the candidate who is god-fearing and principled enough to rebuild the nation and restore the fortunes of Nigeria at this critical period.
Elder Bassey Esin further stated that he believes Prof Yemi Osinbajo with the experience he has garnered as vice-president knows the nitty gritty of Nigeria’s problems and is in the best position to interphase with stakeholders to solve them, especially the problem of insecurity.
