FG Relaxes Facemask Rule,Orders Airlines to Resume Meals on Board Flights_Ada Nkong

The Federal Government has released a revised COVID-19 travel guideline saying the use of face mask and social distancing at airports is no longer mandatory as the risk of Covid-19 has remained at a low level for a sustained period .

People above the age of 60 ,those with immuno-compromised systems or co-morbidities were however advices to keep on using facemasks and practicing hand washing and the use of sanitizers within terminals.

Luggages will also no longer be sanitized and airlines are to resume serving meals on board aircraft.

For international travel, PCR tests are no longer required for all passengers irrespective of recent vaccination status.
