As the year 2022 draws to a close and the yuletide season begins, PDP Chieftain Chief Hart Modey has admonished Nigerians and Northern Cross Riverians in particular to embrace peace with all men irrespective of party affiliation.
Chief Modey made the call on the sidelines of the ITV Abuja Carol of Nine lessons where he was special guest of honor.
Speaking through his representative, Miss Christabel Modey, Chief Modey said the season calls for sober reflection and appreciation to God for his benevolence from January to the end of the year. He said biblically, thanksgiving is not allowed when you have a grudge with your brother, the bible urges to go and make peace before returning to offer thanks.
He therefore called on everyone irrespective of party affiliation to be law abiding, mend fences with all and imbibe the spirit of Sportsmanship so as to engage in politics with out sowing seeds of discord.
He further wished Nigerians and the good people of Northern Cross River state a peaceful and joyful yuletide season and urged them to be vigilant and report all suspicious persons or activities to the law enforcement agencies.
