The supreme Court has ruled that the old 200 ,500 and 1000 naira notes are to remain legal tender till December 31.
In a unanimous decision on Friday March 3, the 7 member panel said the old notes should be used side by side with the redesigned notes.
The court faulted President Buhari for undertaking the naira demonization policy without consulting with the council of state, Federal executive council and other stakeholders saying it was against the CBN act .
