The publisher Global Spy News and APC chieftain,Chief Bassey Esin has questioned the reward plan 9f the Federal government for Hilda Bassey the chef who made Nigeria proud by breaking the Guinness World Record of cooking with 100 hours to her credit.

Yes… President Buhari sent his words of encouragement,but something should still be done for her as a reward for putting Nigeria’s name on the world map and, in the cooking contest for the Guinness world book of records.
This event happened during the life of President Buhari” s Administration,so,it is not enough to praise her for cooking for 100hrs and feeding thousands free, something should be done definitely to support and encourage her. She could be given a cash gift or a house in Abuja.
A lot of excellent things have been achieved by Nigerians during the time of Buhari’s Administration. This particular one that happened the same month that he is leaving office should be taken as a sign that God has really honoured his Government.
Hilda BACI should please be rewarded. It will be a big embarrassment for her to accomplish such a feat and,then,walk away with nothing. The Indian Government rewarded the last holder of that title who was an Indian.
Imagine the BBN,that people will just stay and eat,at the end of the game,the winner is handsomely rewarded. How much more someone who lifted Nigeria’s name so high globally?
Even the Lagos State Government should put a beautiful Car and,an apartment in Hilda’s hands. The Akwa Ibom State where she comes from should organise a grand reception for her and also announce their gifts to her.
