Ex Deputy Senate President Ibrahim Mantu Dies at 74_Ada Nkong

Former deputy senate President Ibrahim Mantu is dead.

Hr died at age 74.

Family sources said he died after a few days of admission at a private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday morning.

He was buried after prayers were offered for him at the Sheik Khalid mosque Abuja with friend s and family in attendance.

Dignitaries at the internment at Gudu cemetery include former speaker of the house of representatives, Dimeji Bankole and former Mano state governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The late Mantu was deputy senate president from 2001 to 2007 under the People’s Democratic Party
