Reports reaching us say a third year female student of the department of Library and information science of the university of Calabar, Precious Mhenuter has died after she was refused treatment for not producing the school clinic card.
According to our source, the student who was in pain following a ruptured appendice tendered her school fee receipt showing that she had paid medical fee though she didn’t have the card which cost less than five hundred naira but was denied access to treatment till she can produce the card.
Female Students are said to be protesting her death as at the time of this report.
