Newsannex: Tell us about your self.

Emmy Robby : I hail from Abia State ,I am an Abuja based Artist . My tracks include Remarkable, Financial Freedom, Legend of Love, Woman’s Worth and Hundred Percent

Newsannex: Who inspired you to make music?

Emmy Robby : Firstly, God is my inspiration. Secondly, a lot of musicians like Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Sunny Okosun, Majek Fashek, Bob Marley inspire me too.

Newsannex: How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Emmy Robby: Hiphop high life.

Newsannex: What is your creative process like?

Emmy Robby : In creating a music it will take you time due to the inspiration involved. It is natural in me to create music.

Newsannex: Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Emmy Robby: Charity they say begins at home, in Nigeria, I love musicians like Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade.

Newsannex: What is one message you would give to your fans?

Emmy Robby: They should believe in themselves and be focused. I love them all but Almighty God loves them better

Newsannex: When did you start your music?

Emmy Robby: I started music in the mid 90s.

Newsannex: What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?

Emmy Robby: I will be into farming business.

Newsannex: Where have you performed?

Emmy Robby: I have been into live band for a long time, and I have performed at top hotels like Nicon Hilton, Sheraton all in Abuja and other places outside Abuja.

Newsannex: How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

Emmy Robby: The internet has helped upcoming Artists and has impacted alot in the music industry in spreading our messages to a wider audience

Newsannex: What is your favourite song to perform?

Emmy Robby : All my songs are my favorite.

Emmy Robby : Burna Boy and Davido

Newsannex: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Emmy Robby: The change I want to see in the industry is the right message from musicians that will impact the next generation.

Emmy Robby: My next album would soon be launched but I need a good promoter.
