Rising from a Joint Action Committee (JAC) meeting of NASU and SSANU held on Thursday 1st of August 2019, the Federal Government has been given a 14 day ultimatum of Industrial action,
This ultimatum, according to the circular to all members, was effective Monday 5th August 2019.
It stated further that during the period of the ultimatum, all branches are directed to carry out protests on Tuesday, 6th August, 2019 and Thursday, 15th August 2019, respectively.
This has come to a head as a result of Non payment of Earned allowances, University staff school matters and Renegotiation of 2019 FGN/Union agreement among others
