The family has confirmed the death of Modey Maurice Modey who passed on Sunday 18th February 2024 at the age of 70.
His brother, Dr Frank Modey says he died after a brief illness.
Maurice Modey was a senior nursing officer and retired as a vice principal of the school of nursing Ogoja.
Burial arrangements as announced by the family are opening of the morning house on the 12th of April 2024 with an all night vigil at his family compound at Ikaptang in Ishibori.
On the 14th of April,there will be internment and burial rites at his family compound Ikaptang Ishibori
He is greatly missed by the family.
